Something rolled into the room.
Bolt flinched from the squeak, and claws closed around his
arm. Blue. It was Blue.
"The Master will see you now." The voice was dull,
a monotone whine. It grated on Bolt's ears.
"Good." Blue purred, picking up Bolt again and
striding confidently forward.
Bolt thought furiously. "You don't want to do this
Blue."
"Be silent." Blue commanded, and Bolt thought they
entered a far dark room.
There was voices, laugher, high and sharp and bitter.
Many voices.
"Now what have you brought before me Dragon."
Everyone fell silent.
That voice cut through the air.
"A new Ted unit Sir. As green as they get." Blue
replied.
"Show me." That voice commanded, and Bolt was unceremonially
dumped on the floor.
There was silence, something moved in the dark, Bolt's eyes
tried to pierce it. There was dots of light, reflected eyes, pinpoints of
light.
Something thin and sharp and deadly tilted his chin up.
Fur fell, cut by the blades.
"Acceptable." The voice said, mere inches from his
face.
Something cut through his fur, scoring lines on the back of
his head.
"May I train him Master?" Blue asked hopefully.
There was laughter.
"After I am done with him."
