"He's mine."
Suddenly bright light flooded the room.
Someone screamed.
Dozens fled.
Bolt glanced around.
Too many. Far too many remained.
Freddie held his blade.
Freddie.
Bolt strained not to move.
Blue growled. "He's mine. My brother."
The thing, all sharp edges and click clank movement, rose up
to his full height, dragging Bolt up, and laughed up wards.
It was insane.
Blue circled around Freddie and Chester.
Freddie's eyes were firm and unafraid, meeting his eyes.
"Give him back." Freddie demanded.
"Surely you don't want this useless little thing?"
The creature hissed, shaking Bolt back and forth.
"Yes." Freddie swung his sword threateningly.
"Let me offer you a deal child." The thing hissed.
Chester whispered in his ear, clinging tightly to Freddie's
hair
Freddie didn't look away, but Chester was watching Blue
circle warily.
"I want this bear. I will trade you for him. Anything
you want."
"Anything?" Freddie asked, eyes going wide, his
free hand rising up to spupport Chester.
"Anything kid. Anything your heart desires."
Freddie frowned, "If you can't keep your deal, I want
Bunny back." His gaze flickered, "And that one."
Blue froze.
The Monster grinned and laughed, "I like you kid. Where
did you get the blade?"
Freddie shook his head "Not part of the deal."
"Alright kid. You have a deal." The blade flickered.
The monster grin widened "What do you want?"
"My sister."
The monster circled around, "Yeah? What do you want to
do to her brat? Let me guess, you want your prefect sister to be torn down off
her pedestal?"
"No." Freddie said, his eyes tracking the monster,
"She went away. I want her to come home."
"Done." The monster snapped his fingers.
Red light flared, something screamed, "Nooo!" and
burned.
Bolt was flung, and skittered over to Freddie, confused and
dazed.
"I guess she really is gone." Freddie said.
